1. Maca roots help increase stamina, strength, and endurance
Maca roots are used in various products to increase stamina, strength, and endurance. In one study, maca root was found to increase the ability of athletes to perform endurance sports while reducing fatigue. Also, it was found that maca root improved the ability of athletes to perform strength-based sports such as weightlifting and bodybuilding. These roots can be very beneficial if you are interested in working out and building your body.
2. Maca root can improve sexual function, fertility, and hormone balances in men and women
Maca is a natural remedy for women's health. Studies have shown that maca can improve sexual function, energy levels, and fertility in women. Maca helps regulate hormone levels by enhancing testosterone and estrogen balance. Maca can also help to reduce PMS symptoms and improve fertility.
Maca roots can also serve as a natural remedy for men's sexual health. These roots improve sexual function, energy levels, and fertility in men. A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine showed that men given maca experienced a substantial increase in libido. The researchers noted that the effects were similar to testosterone replacement therapy.
3. Maca is known to have an anti-aging effect on the body
Maca is known to have an anti-aging effect on the body. It is due to a compound known as macamides, which help reduce plaque and improve overall health. This compound has also been found to help reduce the risk of heart disease. If you are interested in improving your overall health, taking maca may be suitable.
4. Maca root can help reduce cholesterol
Maca root contains a compound called macamides, which can help lower cholesterol levels. This compound is believed to inhibit the enzymes that lead to cholesterol buildup in the body. The result is a decrease in overall cholesterol levels, benefiting people with high cholesterol issues.
5. Maca root helps prevent heart disease and improve heart health
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in developed countries. While this may be due to other factors, maca root may help prevent heart disease because it helps to lower blood pressure and improves cholesterol levels. These roots contain certain compounds that help improve blood flow, preventing plaque buildup in your arteries. If you want to keep your heart in excellent condition, you should try adding maca root to your diet.
6. Maca root helps improve memory and concentration
Maca root has been used to treat memory loss in traditional medicine. However, recent research suggests that maca can also improve cognitive function and increase attention span, which may help boost productivity in the workplace.
7. Maca roots boost the body's immune system
Maca is a great immune booster that enhances the body's natural defenses against infections, parasites, tumors, and even cancerous cells. Maca root's properties are believed to enhance the body's innate immune system and stimulate the production of special antibodies. It also encourages the production of natural killer cells, eliminating foreign pathogens in the body and protecting against cancerous cells.
8. Maca roots can improve sleep, boost energy and reduce fatigue
Maca root is a very energizing root that increases stamina and endurance. It also reduces fatigue by stimulating the body's ability to perform at its peak while improving sleep quality.
It has been used to help improve sleep in many cultures, including ancient China and Peru, because it contains a substance called macaenes, a serotonin precursor, and has positive effects on the sleep cycle. It is also known to boost energy levels and help improve focus, making it a valuable addition to your daily diet.
9. Maca roots can help maintain blood pressure
When the body is under stress, it produces excess amounts of stress hormones and enzymes that break down blood vessel walls. As a result, your blood pressure can increase. Maca root is a well-known plant used in traditional medicine to help maintain blood pressure. It contains certain compounds such as l-arginine and quercetin, which can help regulate blood pressure.

How long does it take to see results!
Everybody is unique and can reacts differently to herbs. One person can take a herb and it helps digestion and weight gain whilst another person on the same herb can notice a reduction in appetite and cravings and thus experience weight loss.
There is no set rule as herbs have an holistic and a balancing response, sometimes the body needs different therapeutic effects from a herb. And the domino effect might lead to very subtle changes within oneself.
Changes like energy, deeper sleep or more calm. These can help put you on a positive spiral where because you’re more rested you’re now more energetic and because you’re more energetic you’re more likely to lift more and push yourself whilst training. Leading to a positive spiral of progress.
This is a simplistic way to see it but I say all that to say this. When starting out your herbal journey, enjoy the process of learning, seeing how your body reacts and focus less on whether or not you can lift 325kg (like your boy Dungu) within a week. This is a journey to back to your roots!

Truth About Maca: Can It Really Boost Libido and Sexual Performance in Both Men & Women?
===============================================
Maca is an interesting root. This Peruvian plant only grows in the most inhospitable parts of the Andes, yet it’s becoming popular worldwide, as an aphrodisiac and fertility booster.
Maca has a long history of use as an aphrodisiac in both men and women.
It’s not fully understood how maca works in this regard because Maca does not contain plant hormones and does not work by increasing levels of sex hormones like testosterone or estrogen, directly.
However, Maca may work by normalizing steroid sex hormones like testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen.
Thus, it improves the RATIOS between your sex hormones.
However, chemical research has demonstrated that Maca Root contains a chemical (p-methoxybenzyl isothiocyanate), which has “aphrodisiac” properties.
In men, it is believed to help treat male impotence and erectile dysfunction and may, in fact, increase seminal volume and sperm motility.
In women, it is said to increase libido, perk up a low sex drive and may, because of the herb's glucosinolate content, enhance fertility.
In a double-blind 2002 study, researchers gave 57 men maca EXTRACT or placebo (sugar pill). The men received the supplements daily for 12 weeks. After 8 weeks, men in the maca groups reported heightened sexual desire [1].
Another study looked at 20 depressed men on SSRIs – antidepressants that often decrease sex drive – and found that daily maca extract “significantly increased self-reported libido”. A similar study looking at 45 women on antidepressants found maca had the same effect [3].
And some have even called Maca as “nature’s answer to Viagra”.
Now, I wouldn’t go that far. However, Maca does work, IF you use the correct form and dosage.
First of all, if you’re using the “root powder”, you’ll need at least 3000-5000 MGS daily. The “root” powder is never as potent or as effective as the extract form.
So, your goal should be to get Maca EXTRACT, preferably at 6%... Which contains the beneficial chemicals (p-methoxybenzyl isothiocyanate and glucosinolate) causing the improvement in hormonal balance and increase of sex drive.
Additionally, research has shown that Maca Extract works much better, when combined with other complementary and synergistic herbs and vitamins, such as
Fenugreek, Tongkat Ali, Avena Sativa, Stinging Nettle and Tribulus extract, for optimal testosterone levels.
DIM and Selenium to reduce the female hormone, estrogen
Vitamin C and Ashwaganda to reduce the stress hormone, cortisol
Vitex Agnus to reduce the female hormone, prolactin
Zinc to reduce the hair loss and prostate cancer hormone, DHT
The special synergy between these correct “stack of ingredients”, creates a much safer and more effective solution.
It’s like 1+1+1 = 6 (not 3!)
You use less, and you get more.
The “stack” saves you money and gives you better, safer results, for a longer amount of time.
Don’t worry, I’ve simplified all of this for you.
